Day to day itinerary

Day 1 
Meeting at the Tbilisi International Airport. Accommodation at 3 stars Hotel. Visit old Tbilisi – Shardeni & Erekle II str. Mtskheta town. (old Capital of Georgia)
The territory of modern-day Georgia has been continuously inhabited since the early Stone Age. The classic period saw the rise of the early Georgian states of Colchis and Iberia. The proto-Georgian tribes first appear in written history in the 12th century BC. Archaeological finds and references in ancient sources reveal elements of early political and state formations characterized by advanced metallurgy and goldsmith techniques that date back to the 7th century BC and beyond. In the 4th century BC a unified kingdom of Georgia - an early example of advanced state organization under one king and the hierarchy of aristocracy, was established.

Day 2 
On the second day we will leave for Racha (Racha (also Ratcha,) is a historic province in Georgia in the mountainous northwestern part of the country. Comprising the present-day districts of Oni and Ambrolauri, it is included in the region of Racha-Lechkhumi & Kvemo Svaneti (lower Svanetia). It is bordered by the mountain-range of Greater Caucasus to the north and east, Imereti to the south, Lechkhumi and Svaneti to the west. It is situated in the northern valley of Rioni River and is surrounded by mountains. On the way we will stop in Kutaisi (ancient names: Aea/Aia, Kutatisi, Kutaïssi) is Georgia’s second largest city and the capital of the western region of Imereti. It is 221 km to the west of Tbilisi and visit Bagrati church ((Bagratis tadzari), is the11th-Century Cathedral church in the city of Kutaisi, the region of Imereti, Georgia. The cathedral, now in ruins, has gone down as a masterpiece in the history of medieval Georgian architecture and Sataplie. At the evening we will be in Oni.

In Racha we will visit alleys of Alexandreuli and local peasants and will test Khvanchkara at the wine factory

Day 4
On the fourth day we will arrive back in Tbilisi. On the way excursion im Mtsketa - (one of the oldest cities of the country of Georgia (in Kartli province of Eastern Georgia), near Tbilisi. Mtskheta was a capital of the Georgian Kingdom of Iberia during the 3rd century BC - 5th century AD. Here Georgians accepted Christianity in 317 and Mtskheta still remains the headquarters of the Georgian Orthodox and Apostolic Church.)
Svetickhoveli - Is a Georgian Orthodox Cathedral located in the historical town of Mtskheta, Georgia, 20 km. (12.5 miles) northwest of the nation's capital of Tbilisi.
Svetitskhoveli, known as the burial site of Christ’s mantle, has long been the principal Georgian church and remains one of the most venerated places of worship to this day. It presently functions as the seat of the archbishop of Mtskheta and Tbilisi, who is at the same time Catholicos-Patriarch of all Georgia.
The current cathedral was built in the 11th century by the Georgian architect Arsukisdze, though the site itself is even older dating back to the early 4th century and is surrounded by a number of legends associated primarily with the early Christian traditions.
It is the second largest church building in the country, after the recently consecrated Tbilisi Sameba Cathedral, and is listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site along with other historical monuments of Mtskheta.
Jvari monastry - Jvari or Jvari Monastery is a Georgian Orthodox monastery of the 6th century near Mtskheta (World Heritage site), Mtskheta-Mtianeti region, eastern Georgia. Day 5
On the fifth day we will leave for Kakheti (Kakheti is a province in Eastern Georgia. It is bordered by the small mountainous province of Tusheti and mountain-range of Greater Caucasus to the north, Azerbaijan to the east and the south, and the Georgian province of Kartli to the west. Kakheti is geographically divided into the Inner Kakheti to the east of Tsiv-Gombori mountain-range and the Outer Kakheti to the west of it. The major river of the eastern part is Alazani, of the western part - Iori. Kakhetians speak a local dialect of Georgia.
The Georgian David Gareja Monastery is partially located in this province and is subject to a border dispute between Georgian and Azerbaijani authorities.
There we will visit King Erekle the second’s palace. Erekle II was a Georgian Monarch of the Bagrationi Dynasty, reigning as the king of Kakheti from 1744 to 1762, and of Kartli and Kakheti from 1762 until 1798. In the contemporary Persian sources he is referred to as Erekli Khan, while Russians knew him as Irakli (Irakly). His name is frequently transliterated in a Latinized form Heraclius.
this day we will visit Telavi wine cellar, factory of Teliani Valley and Gremi. Gremi is the 16th-century architectural monument – the royal citadel and the Church of the Archangels – in Kakheti, Georgia. The complex is what has survived from the once flourishing town of Gremi and is located east of the present-day village of the same name in the Kvareli district, 175 km east of Tbilisi, capital of Georgia.castle.

Alaverdi Catherdal – Earliest structures of Alaverdi monastery date back to 6th centuryThe Monastery was founded by the Assirian monk Joseph (Yoseb, Amba) Alaverdeli, who came from Antioch and settled in Alaverdi, then a small village and the former pagan religious center dedicated to moon. Alaverdi is the second tallest, after the recently consecrated Tbilis Sioani Cathedral, religious building in the country and its height is more than 55 meters.
Al. Chavchavadze – (Prince Alexander Chavchavadze (1786 - November 6, 1846) was a notable Georgian poet, public benefactor and military figure. Regarded as the "father of GeorgianRomanticizm," he was also known as a preeminent aristocrat of Georgia and a talented general in the Imperial Russian service.) in Tsinanadali (Tsinandali is a village in Kakhet, Georgia, noted for the estate and its historic winery which once belonged to the 19th-century aristocratic poet Aleksander Chavchavadze (1786-1846). It is situated in the district of Telavi, 179km east of Tbilisi.)
Sighnaghi (Signagi) - is a town in Georgia's easternmost region of Kakheti and the administrative center of the Sighnaghi District. It is one of the country's smallest towns with a population of 2,146 as of the 2002 census.[1] Sighnaghi's economy is dominated by production of wine and traditional Carpets. The town and its environs are also known for their landscapes and historical monuments. Sighnaghi has recently underwent a fundamental reconstruction program and has become an important centre of Georgia's tourist industry.

On this day we will take part in “Rtveli”, and then in grape pressing with the Georgian traditional way

The last day - Departure day
This day is the end of our traveling in Georgia. We will arrive back in Tbilisi and leave for the airport.
